The Mood Bears Take Over London Bus for an unforgettable afternoon of tea, treats, and emotional wellbeing

The Mood Bears and Brigit’s Bakery joined forces to host a magical, celebrity-filled event aboard the iconic London Bus – and it was nothing short of unforgettable.
Bringing positivity, mindfulness, and a touch of sparkle to the streets of London, this unique event treated guests to a bespoke Mood Bears Afternoon Tea, specially created by Brigit’s Bakery. From charming treats to enchanting entertainment, the experience celebrated joy, wellbeing, and connection – values at the heart of both beloved brands.
The exclusive guest list included some of the UK’s most recognised faces, with Laura Whitmore and Iain Stirling, Vanessa Feltz, and Strictly’s Rachel Riley and Pasha Kovalev all stepping aboard. Kelsey Parker proudly showcased her baby bump in a beautiful blue dress, just one month away from her due date, while the radiant Roxy Horner – recently engaged to Jack Whitehall – added to the glamour of the afternoon.
Guests enjoyed a joyful meet and greet with The Mood Bears themselves, alongside brand founder Joanna Proud, who shared her inspiring story behind the award-winning emotional wellbeing toy brand. The experience was rounded out with music, games, glitter tattoos, colouring activities, and a keepsake goody bag for each guest to take home.
Designed to bring smiles and spark meaningful moments, today’s event was a heartwarming reminder that happiness can truly be found in the little things – especially when shared.
The Mood Bears are a collection of colourful, cuddly characters designed to help children and adults express and understand their emotions in a healthy, supportive way. Each bear represents a different feeling — from happiness and sadness to love and calm — and is paired with simple, comforting rhymes to promote emotional wellbeing and mental health awareness. Created by Joanna Proud and inspired by her own mental health journey, The Mood Bears have quickly grown into a beloved brand recognised by families, educators, and mental health professionals alike. With their mission to make emotional support accessible, comforting and engaging, The Mood Bears are more than toys — they’re companions on the journey to better emotional understanding. Joanna Proud was the first person on Dragons Den to win the support of all 5 dragons.
